Material (unbest\u00e4tigt) Bronze.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bei dem Objekt handelt es sich um eine antike Kalk- (Chunam) Dose, bekannt als &#8222;Killotaya&#8220; oder &#8222;Killota&#8220;, die typischerweise aus Bronze oder Messing besteht.<br \/>\nHerkunft: Das Sammlerst\u00fcck stammt urspr\u00fcnglich aus Sri Lanka.<br \/>\nMaterial: Es ist aus Metall, wahrscheinlich Bronze oder Messing, gefertigt.<br \/>\nFunktion: Es diente zur Aufbewahrung von gel\u00f6schtem Kalk (Chunam), einem Bestandteil der Betelnuss-Kultur.<br \/>\nDesign: Die Dose weist Gravuren oder Reliefs auf der Oberfl\u00e4che auf und besitzt eine kleine, angekettete Schaufel.<\/p>\n<p>Die Dose soll aus dem Mittelalter, der Zeit der K\u00f6nige, in Ceylon (Sri Lanka) stammen und mindestens 500 Jahre alt sein. (Unbest\u00e4tigt)<\/p>\n<p>Von mir selbst 1975 in\u00a0Anuradhapura\/Ceylon gekauft.<\/p>\n<p>Es d\u00fcrfen gerne Expertisen gestellt werden, da das tats\u00e4chliche Alter, Material und die Herkunft unbest\u00e4tigt sind.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Museen willkommen.
